BIOGRAPHY:
John Buckley received the BEng (Electronic) from Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), Cork, Ireland in 1994. He was with EMC Corporation from 1994 to 2003, where he worked on test product design, signal integrity and PCB design. In 2004, he graduated from the Microelectronics department of University College Cork (UCC) with an MEngSc (Microelectronics Design). Since January 2005, he has been with the Ambient Electronics Systems Team at the Tyndall National Institute, Cork.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
His research focuses on electrical modelling and measurement of antennas and RF circuits and the development of system solutions for wireless sensor network applications.
