a programme of the Tyndall National Institute with funding from SFI

What is funded?

The following costs will be covered in full for successful applicants:

  • Access costs of equipment usage, fabrication process runs & test/characterisation
  • Costs of access to engineering & technical support
  • Costs of all consumables & materials required to complete the project
  • Expenses: A Daily Allowance to cover Travel, accommodation & subsistence for visiting researchers

The following costs will not be covered:

  • The salary costs of visiting researchers or other researchers associated with the proposal submission
  • The costs of access for industry researchers
  • Any equipment, which may be sought by applicants within proposal
