Biography
Andreas Amann received his Diplom in Physics degree from the University of Bonn, Germany, in 1998. He completed his PhD in Physics in the Group of Nonlinear Dynamics in Semiconductors at the Technical University of Berlin in 2003. In 2005 Andreas joined the Photonics Theory Group as a post-doctoral researcher.

Research Interests
Electron transport in nanostructured semiconductor devices, applications of nonlinear dynamics, formation of fronts and patterns under nonequilibrium conditions, chaos control theory.
