Vacancies |
We currently have no
vacancies
for postgraduate students.
If you are interested
in joining the group for an MSc or a PhD from September 2010,
and
expect to obtain a 2.1 or 1st class degree in physics, please
contact Síle Nic Chormaic to discuss funding
options. It may be possible to apply for an Embark award through IRCSET
or a Quantum Optics Group Scholarship.
The 2010 IRCSET

www.ircset.ie for details. Note that IRCSET is a
very
competitive source of funding and is available to students who have not
yet embarked on a PhD research programme. A 1st
class honour or equivalent is esential (> 70% in your exams with a
very high class ranking).
If you are
interested in working with micro-optics and cold atoms,
please contact us to discuss projects and possible scholarship
applications to the IRCSET scheme for 2010.
If you are interested in working on the theory of ultracold atomic
systems
