BC-67 Research Fellow -Transfer printing
Contract: Full Time/Fixed Term - 2 years
Tyndall National Institute at University College, Cork is coordinating a Disruptive Technology Innovation Fund (DTIF) project developing and applying the technique of Transfer Printing for the heterogeneous integration of photonic, magnetic, RF and electronic components. The project is in conjunction with leading partners in the semiconductor and photonics industries.
Applications are now invited for a person to co-ordinate the project on a day-to-day basis to ensure its smooth and successful implementation. The successful candidate will join the photonics centre at Tyndall and work within the Irish Photonic Integration Centre (IPIC). In reporting to the principal investigator you will coordinate the project activities at Tyndall including the supervision of the scientific and technical progress of postdoctoral researchers. You will coordinate the information flow between the partners and chair regular meetings to enable the project team to reach our goals.

Appointment may be made on the IUA Scale for Research Fellow €55,811-€60,814 pa. Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
