Photonics Ireland are attending the world’s largest photonics technologies event, SPIE Photonics West, which is taking place in San Francisco from January 31 to February 2. Photonics Ireland, IPIC, the SFI Centre for Photonics and partners will be at booth 4645 for the duration of the event.
SPIE Photonics West is an annual event that focuses on research in:
- Biomedical optics
- Biophotonics
- Industrial lasers
- Optoelectronics
- Microfabrication
- MOEMS-MEMS
- Displays
- Quantum technologies (including quantum 2.0)
These research areas, along with other similar topics, will be discussed and debated throughout the event with leaders from the world of academia, industry and government from around the world. The event allows the global photonics community to learn about the latest research, engage with the newest innovations, and network with peers.
Attendees will also get the opportunity to discuss their product requirements with top optics and photonics suppliers, and will have the chance to participate in the strong industry programme to learn about the innovation happening in the Photonics industry.
Several members of the Photonics Ireland team will be presenting and speaking at the event, details below:
