We have Research Masters and PhD positions, interdisciplinary areas, ranging from fundamentals to applied research, such as Micro and Nano Systems and Photonics, across our Research Centres.
Our Micro and Nano Systems research focuses on modelling and development of materials, devices and systems. Our Photonics research focuses on photonic integration technology, spanning areas from photonics theory right through to device and system development, and fabrication.
At Tyndall, we provide the highest level of support to over 150 Research Masters and PhD students currently studying with us. As well as practical research, you also have access to a comprehensive training programme in a wide range of technical and transferable skills including innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialisation.
