LH-05 Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher – 5G Network System Level Simulation

The Wireless Communications Laboratory at Tyndall National Institute in Dublin is advertising for the position of a Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher in 5G network simulation modelling for the ANDES project. The project is a collaboration between academic (Tyndall, UCC) and industrial partners (Analog Devices).
The successful candidate will develop a 5G system level simulator and carry out performance analysis of different cellular network deployments and evaluation of new wireless techniques and algorithms.
The post offers a superb opportunity for an ambitious individual to work collaboratively between academia and industry and across teams in Ireland and the US.
Tyndall’s Wireless Communications Laboratory intends to grow to 50+ researchers based in Dublin by 2025. As part of this, follow-up opportunities within the lab may be available after the successful completion of the ANDES project, subject to performance.
Appointment will be on the Senior Post-doctoral Researcher scale, €50,540 to €54,966 per annum. Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
