Tyndall National Institute at University College Cork invites applications for a Marketing Communications Internship. Tyndall is a leading deep-tech European research institute and is one of Ireland’s six National Labs, specialising in both electronics and photonics. Tyndall works with industry and academia to transform research into products in its core market areas of electronics, communications, energy, health, agri-tech & the environment. With a network of over 200 industry partners and customers worldwide, we are focused on delivering human and economic impact from excellence in research. Tyndall is home to a research community of 600 people of 48 nationalities.
We are seeking to build our brand recognition and reputation in new and existing market segments and our marketing and communications will be impact driven. It will communicate the key impacts of job creation, research excellence, skilled graduate development, industry investment, increased funding and international reach. A successful marketing and communications programme will ensure that Tyndall is seen as delivering on its strategic objectives.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Marketing Communications Internship at Tyndall has been established to give post graduates the experience of working in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic marketer with a passion for communication and a creative curiosity.
Our internship will give you essential experience in marketing and communications, including brand management, PR, copywriting, event management, internal communications, content marketing, web and social media, marketing strategy and reporting.
