Dr. Pranav earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Politecnico di Milano in Italy, researching time domain diffuse spectroscopy, an emerging field in medical optics. He initially joined Tyndall as a Marie Curie Fellow under the Sparkle Programme of IPIC, during which he worked on optical technologies like GASMAS (GAs in Scattering Media Absorption Spectroscopy) to non-invasively monitor lung health. He is also interested in the applications of interferometry within the context of diffuse optical spectroscopy.
