Dr Sooraj Sanjay is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Micro-Nano Systems (MNS) Centre at Tyndall. He specialises in experimental nanoelectronics, with expertise in semiconductor device fabrication, electrical characterization, and device modeling/simulation. His current research at Tyndall explores electrical transport in crystalline semiconducting oxides.
His broad research interests include semiconductor device technologies—such as FETs, ISFETs, and FeFETs—and the integration of oxides, 2D materials, and other functional materials for emerging computing and sensing applications.
Dr Sanjay earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, where he developed 2D material-based ultra-scaled FETs, steep-slope transistors, and super-Nernstian ISFETs for logic and biosensing applications.
