Ahmed is a PhD researcher at Tyndall, where he focuses on the design and development of a state-of-the-art CMOS image sensor and its interface circuits for medical imaging applications. His key responsibilities include analog and mixed-signal IC design, sensor readout architecture, and the integration of low-power interface circuits optimised for biomedical applications. He is also involved in the testing and validation of the sensor system, working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Tyndall. His research interests include low-power analog circuit design and sensor interface electronics.
