Postgraduate Publication of the Year 2025

Together with sponsor Qualcomm, Tyndall celebrates the winners and finalists of the 2025 Postgraduate Publication of the Year.

Keith O’Donoghue, Senior Director, Engineering at QT Technologies Ireland Limited (Qualcomm Ireland) commented,

Qualcomm Ireland is proud to support Tyndall’s Postgraduate Publication of the Year awards, which showcase the next generation of Ireland’s deep tech talent. Initiatives of this nature contribute to the development of a strong and diverse semiconductor talent pipeline, which is essential to the continued growth of the sector and to Qualcomm’s ongoing expansion of our engineering teams in the heart of Cork city.

Dr Fatima Gunning, Head of Graduate Studies, and Education and Public Engagement (EPE) at Tyndall commented,

This year’s Postgraduate Publication of the Year submissions once again highlight the depth of talent and ambition within our postgraduate community. The calibre of work presented was exceptional, not only in its research and scientific rigour, but in the creativity, and leadership our researchers are already demonstrating. Developing research leadership in conjunction with partners like Qualcomm strengthens this even further, giving our students the opportunity to engage with real‑world challenges at the highest level. Our postgraduates are not just contributing to their fields; they are shaping them. Their achievements this year reaffirm that the next generation of research leaders is already emerging from Tyndall, and they are setting a remarkably high standard for the future.
