Tyndall will present two accepted papers at the EPoSS Annual Forum 2026, taking place 16–19 June 2026 in Braga, Portugal.

One presentation focuses on materials, fabrication, and heterogeneous integration of magnetics‑on‑silicon, showcasing Tyndall’s end‑to‑end technology chain for integrated power applications. The work spans thin‑film magnetic materials, on‑silicon MEMS micro‑inductors, and their heterogeneous integration onto interposers, targeting compact and efficient DC‑DC converter solutions.

This work is enabled through the FAMES Pilot Line, where Tyndall is a core partner contributing Magnetics‑on‑Silicon as a key technology pillar under the EU Chips Act. The results highlight Europe’s growing capabilities in advanced power integration and system‑level innovation.

In a second oral presentation, Tyndall will present research entitled “A novel implantable multiparameter sensor capsule and eHealth platform for diagnosing GERD.” This work addresses the development of an implantable sensing capsule combined with an eHealth platform for improved diagnosis and long‑term monitoring of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The paper is an output of the eCAP Horizon Europe project, which is advancing next‑generation solutions for gastrointestinal health monitoring.

The EPoSS Annual Forum brings together industry, academia, and policymakers to advance smart systems integration across Europe.
