Dr Abu Ghazali is a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Senad Bulja in the Wireless Communications Lab of the MicroNano Systems (MNS) group at the Tyndall. His research is focused on the development of millimeter-wave (mm-wave) circuits using the SU-8 photoresist. Specifically, his work involves optimising the cleanroom lithographic process for SU-8 deposition on glass wafers, utilising grayscale masks to fabricate high aspect ratio structures.
Before joining Tyndall, Abu served as an Associate Professor at the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT University, India, from October 2023 to April 2024, and as an Assistant Professor from June 2016 to September 2023. Prior to that, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra, Patna Campus, India, from July 2013 to June 2016.
Abu holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from SRM University, India (2004-2008), a Master of Engineering (M.E.) in ECE from BIT Mesra, India (2008-2010), and a Ph.D. in ECE from BIT Mesra, India (2011-2014). His research domain is RF/Microwave Engineering.
