Carlota is the Project Coordinator for “Intelligent, Secure and Trustable Systems enabling Digital Transformation” (ENTIRE) European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH), funded by Enterprise Ireland and the European Commission. ENTIRE EDIH helps SMEs and Public Service Organisations (PSOs) by equipping them with the essential digital tools to improve their competitiveness, upgrade their infrastructure and boost their overall digital capacities. She is on charge of managing, coordinating and assisting the ENTIRE EDIH Consortium partners (Tyndall National Institute – Coordinator, Skillnet Ireland, Walton Institute (South East Technological University), University College Cork and Munster Technological University).

Carlota is a PhD candidate in Engineering at Munster Technological University (MTU), Cork. She has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Development and Practice at MTU. Her academic background includes both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering – with a focus on Manufacturing, Product Design, and Development – from Universidade de Vigo, Spain.
