Chinmoy Kundu received the PhD degree in communication engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), Delhi, India, in Mar. 2015. He is currently a Senior Scientist at Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork, Cork, Ireland with the Research Ireland Pathway Fellowship. He has taught course modules at University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland, Maynooth University, Maynooth, Ireland, and Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT Jammu), Jammu, India. His post PhD experiences include as a Science Foundation Ireland Industry RD&I Fellow and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie EDGE Fellow at UCD, Dublin, Ireland, an Assistant Professor (DST Inspire Faculty) at IIT Jammu, Jammu, India, a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Dallas, USA, a Newton International Fellow in Queen’s University Belfast, UK, and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Memorial University, Canada. During the period 2019 – 2024, he served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Communications Letters. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor of IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society. He has also served as a TPC member and a reviewer for reputed IEEE Conferences and journals. He is a recipient of the Pathway Fellowship and Industry RD&I Fellowship from Research Ireland, the Marie Sklodowska-Curie EDGE Fellowship from the EU, the Newton International Fellowship from the Royal Society, UK, the Inspire Faculty Award from the DST, India, and the Exemplary Reviewer award from the journal IEEE Communications Letters in 2019, 2021, and 2022. His research interests broadly span wireless communications and its security.
