Royal Institution Lecture - Happy 200th birthday John Tyndall featuring Dr Paul Hurley

#Tyndall200 continues as a national celebration to mark the bicentennial of John Tyndall, one of Ireland’s most extraordinary and influential scientists. Chosen as the namesake of Tyndall National Institute, his scientific legacy continues to live on through our researchers and their work to this day. The renowned scientist also led the Royal Institution's research following the death of Faraday.

In honour and continued celebration of his bicentennial, the Royal Institution is hosting a special lecture with Tyndall National Institute's Dr Paul Hurley. During this talk, he will demonstrate some examples of Tyndall’s 19th Century scientific achievements and how they relate to our current information and communication age, and to critical environmental concerns of the 21st Century.

Register now.
