Bob Savage is the current Vice President, Regional CIO for EMEA and Cork Site Leader at Dell Technologies, has a Degree in Electronic Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Irish Academy of Engineers.
Bob brings 34 years of experience with Dell Technologies and EMC holding leadership roles in manufacturing, engineering and customer services. Having previously undertaken the role of Site Leader/Vice President EMC Cork from 2008 to 2015, Bob has been Site Leader of Dell Technologies and Vice President of Cork since 2016, and Regional CIO for Dell Technologies EMEA since 2017, where he is also responsible for Dell Operations in Egypt and India.
Other highlights include Chair of Governing Body of CIT (September 2011-December 2020) and MTU (January-June 2021), a Board Member of Enterprise Ireland (2010-2015), Board Member of American Chamber of Commerce Ireland (2013-2019 and President in 2016), Chair of National Skills Council (since 2020), a member of Cork Airport Development forum (2015-present) and Chair of Implementation Committee South West Action Plan for Jobs (2017-2019).
