BIOGRAPHY:

Paul McCloskey graduated with a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Queens University Belfast in 1981. He also holds an MSc in Energy Studies obtained in 1984 and an MSc in Microelectronics obtained in 1991, both from the University of Ulster. He worked for 14 years in electronics manufacturing before joining the “Tyndall National Institute “ as a senior researcher in 1998. He is currently responsible for the “Embedded Packaging” activity within the Microelectronics Applications Integration Group of the Microsystems Centre. He is co-author of approximately 30 conference and journal papers in the areas of; integrated magnetics, power electronic packaging and design of experiments.

• Electrodeposited Soft Magnetic Materials (currently pursuing a part time PhD in this area
