The Tyndall National Institute, at University College, Cork is a world leader in the development of wearable sensor systems for use in the body, on the body and around the body. Working closely with a global range of academic, business and clinical partners, our technology is under evaluation by several multinational corporations and is approaching market readiness in a number of areas.
The Wireless Sensor Network Group (WSN),Tyndall National Institute - University College Cork, invites applications for a PhD Studentship in RF and Antenna Design. The applied research program will focus on solving the technical challenges associated with antenna and RF Design, Simulation and Measurement in this exciting and rapidly expanding R&D field.
The successful candidate will work on research projects under the direction of a project team leader to design and develop novel antenna architectures for IoT applications.

An annual student stipend of €18,500 applies for this successful candidate for this position. Yearly University Academic Fees will paid by the Tyndall National Institute.
