Research Interest:

As a researcher in the III-V materials and devices group in Tyndall national institute since 2018, I work on high efficiency micro-LEDs for next generation displays  and phtonics integration utilising transfer printing technologies. My research interests lie on the photonic devices (LEDs, SLEDs and LDs) for advanced application, e.g. heterogeneous integration, optogenetics, optical communication, etc... Before joining Tyndall, I received full funding from the Faculty of Engineering in the University of Sheffield pursuing my PhD degree from 2014 to 2018, where my research field was about the semi-polar and non-polar III-nitrides epitaxy using metal-organic chemical vapour deposition (MOCVD) for light emitters. Prior to that, I completed Master studies focusing on the InGaN-based LEDs fabrication and characterization in the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2011 to 2014, during which I visited Taiwan University for academic exchange for 6 months. I received the Bachelor degree from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2011.
