On Wednesday, April 17th, Tyndall National Institute will host another one of its New Ventures Fireside Chats, with Dr Michael Hopkons, Chairman at Impedans.
Michael received his Ph.D. degree in plasma physics and a degree in experimental physics from the University of Ulster. He is currently the CEO of Impedans Ltd., a Dublin-based venture-backed company which makes plasma measurement systems. Michael was a Principle Investigator on the Science Foundation Ireland funded research cluster at DCU, called Precision. He is the Founding Director of the Plasma Research Group at DCU, now the National Centre for Plasma Science and Technology, and was the Founding Chairman of the Chemical and Physical Sciences Committee of the Royal Irish Academy.
The event will take place in Tyndall B0.17-01 from 12:30-13:30.
