Call for Papers for Special Issue of Sensors - State-of-the-Art Sensors Technologies in Ireland 2020

The renowned open access journal Sensors (IF: 3.275, ISSN 1424-8220) has announced a new Special Issue entitled " State-of-the-Art Sensors Technologies in Ireland 2020".

Prof. Elfed Lewis (UL), Prof. Cian O'Mathuna  (Head of MicroNano Systems, Tyndall, UCC), John Barton  (WSN Group, Tyndall, UCC), Prof. Gerald Farrell (TU Dublin), Prof. Joan Condell (UU), Dr. Thomas Newe (UL), Dr. Alison Keogh (UCD) and Dr. Ciprian Briciu-Burghina (DCU) are serving as Guest Editors for this special issue.

This is the first time that sensor research in Ireland has been profiled by MDPI. It is a timely opportunity to promote the excellence of our research in a critical area where sensors enhance all aspects of our lives from the food we eat, to the cars we drive and our precious health.

The submission deadline for papers is 28 February, 2021. This special issue is now open for submission.

The Special Issue will publish full research papers and reviews. Potential topics include, but are not limited to the following:

Sensors is fully open access. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 17.85 days after submission. You may submit your manuscript now or up until the deadline 28 February, 2021 via www.mdpi.com by registering and logging into the website.

A discount of 400 CHF on the Article Processing Charge will be applied if your paper is submitted before 31 December 2020. We will arrange a fast peer review process. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
