Predicting Human Behaviour to Accelerate Climate Change Solutions - IERC Conference Leads Intensive Drive to Deliver 2030 Targets

The International Energy Research Centre (IERC), at Tyndall, has opened registration for their 2020 Annual Conference, which aims to accelerate climate change solutions by bringing together national and international energy experts and researchers.

Dr. Alejandro Salgado Montejo, who received his PhD in experimental psychology from the University of Oxford, is the featured speaker at this crucial event. He has extensive experience in the integration of knowledge across neuroscience, psychophysics, and social sciences to understand and predict human experience and decision-making. He will speak on the topic of predicting human behaviour and decision-making. John Mullins, Executive Chairman of solar power producer Amarenco, will join speakers from Oxford Brookes University; the World Energy Council; Community Power; ICLEI Europe; NS Energy Watch Germany. Speakers will be addressing this year’s conference theme, “A New Decade, A New Frontier: An Intensive Drive Towards Delivering 2030 Targets.”

The 9th Annual IERC Conference will take place in Cork, Ireland, and begins with a networking dinner on Wednesday, April 22nd. The main conference takes place on Thursday April 23rd; all events will be hosted at the Maryborough House Hotel. Register now.
