Established 40 years ago, Tyndall National Institute is proud to have grown to over 600 research and support staff. To celebrate our anniversary, we hosted a number of events, with our alumni event becoming a key date on our calendar.
We were delighted with the resounding success of the 40 Years Tyndall and NMRC Alumni Summer Gathering in August, so much so that we are proud to announce the beginning of an annual tradition.
On a day where our community was able to reunite in person, share stories from years gone by while also sharing in the excitement of Tyndall’s future, we were pleased to receive so much positive feedback.
The event saw our current postgraduates and researchers meeting with past staff and students sharing their research poster displays and building networks. It was a delight to hear from new and old colleagues with stories and presentations showcasing current research activities and achievements.
Thank you to all who attended and the marvellous Alumni committee who organised the event. We had a fantastic turnout with a full house and we look forward to hosting the next Tyndall and NMRC Alumni Summer Gathering in midsummer in 2023.
