Tyndall National Institute & the Irish Photonic Integration Centre (IPIC) at Photonics West 2024

The world’s largest photonics technology event – Photonics West, commences January 27th in San Francisco.

This globally recognised, 6-day conference, showcases the most cutting-edge research in biomedical optics, biophotonics, industrial lasers, optoelectronics, microfabrication, MOEMS-MEMS, displays, quantum technologies, including quantum 2.0 and more.

These research areas, along with other similar topics, will be discussed and debated throughout the event with leaders from the world of academia, industry and government from around the world. The event allows the global photonics community to learn about the latest research, engage with the newest innovations, and network with photonics peers.

A delegation from the Irish Photonic Integration Centre (IPIC) and Tyndall National Institute, as well as partners such as Eblana Photonics, mBryonics, X-Celeprint, BioPIxS, iSLight, SFI, Enterprise Ireland, IDA and the Consulate General of Ireland, San Francisco are attending Photonics West and will be available on the Photonics Ireland Booth, No.4743, at the Exhibition Hall.

Full details of the Photonics West event is available on their website here.

Several members of the Photonics Ireland team will be presenting and speaking at Photonics West, details below. The Pilot Lines Breakfast and Photonics Innovation hubs breakfast are also taking place - details below.
